This guide explains how to use WPU's institutional repository.

Creative Commons License Options

You may add a Creative Commons License to your item. These licenses help inform others how the item may or may not be used.

Public DomainPublic Domain – Choose this option if copyright has expired on the item you are submitting or if the item is a part of the public domain.
 

CC0CC0 – Choose this option to waive all copyrights to the item.

 

Here are questions to ask yourself for the Creative Commons license:

Do you allow commercial uses of your work?

  • No
  • Yes


Do you allow modifications of your work?

  • ShareAlike (Others must license derived works with the same CC license.)
  • No
