American Sociological Association
The American Sociological Association (ASA), founded in 1905, is a non-profit membership association dedicated to advancing sociology as a scientific discipline and profession serving the public good.
Eastern Sociological Society
The Eastern Sociological Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in sociological scholarship and instruction. The ESS sponsors a professional journal (Sociological Forum), a four-day Annual Meeting in the spring, a newsletter, numerous award competitions, an employment service, and an electronic mailing list.
