This Guide is intended to help students in POL 4800: American Dissident Thought (Capstone Seminar) design and carry out successful research papers on topics in American dissident thought. Your seminar is exploring the claim that a tradition of American dissident thought exists, and your research papers will test this claim (or some aspect of it) using an empirical case study.
