- Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST)
- Originally established to explore ways to use technology to help students with disabilities, CAST developed the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) which uses flexible methods and materials to teach all students. This website provides extensive information about UDL, and how to implement. Its Learning Tools section includes software to create online books, design lesson plans, conduct online research, etc.

- Membership of The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) consists of professionals in partnership with people with dyslexia and their families. - National Center on Disability and Access to Education
- The National Center on Disability and Access to Education (NCDAE) promotes electronically-mediated distance education policies and practices to enhance the lives of people with disabilities. Supported by the Utah State University, Center for Disabilities, the website includes news articles about accessibility, fact sheets for software accomodations, and videos of people with disabilities.

- Headquartered at the University of Minnesota, NCSET works with educators, community professionals, employers and families to support youth with disabilities in their education and transition needs. The NCSET website offers national, state and local assistance and planning information for secondary and post-secondary education, employment and independent living.
