Welcome to the Curriculum Materials Center!

Welcome to the Curriculum Materials Center (CMC) of the David & Lorraine Cheng Library is an important part of PBHL5020.

If interested in learning more about the CMC you can follow a Self-Guided Tour,  The CMC is available to you now as a WPU student, and you may continue using it after you complete your program. To continue borrowing materials you must use your Alumni card.

CMC Staff

In addition to Yvonne Roux, the staff of the CMC include Patricia Moore and three part time staff members. You can reach Patricia or any of the part time staff at 973-720-2174.

The CMC is open whenever the Library is open. Staff is available Monday through Wednesday from 8 am to 9 pm, Thursday and Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm.

If no one is available to help you in the CMC please go to the Library's Reference Desk or call them at 973-270-2116.

Bibliographies: Topical lists of books and other resources available in the CMC.

Collections: Descriptions of different types of resources found in the CMC, including an online list of Curriculum Guides from NJ school districts.

Lesson Planning Resources: Organized by subjects this list identifies free online resources.

Find Articles: Links to databases both for education research, as well as for K-12 students.

Self-Guided Tour: An easy way to discover the different resources available in the CMC. 

Research Guides: Listed in order by course name these are LibGuides (research guides) created for these courses.

Search the Cheng Library online catalog for books and media. If you need journal articles, go to our Databases page.

Library Services for Graduate Students

As a graduate student, there are a variety of Library services available to you. This link will introduce you to many of these services.

Here are some highlights:

Graduate students may borrow most print books for one semester. A WPUNJ ID card is required to borrow materials from Cheng Library. If you don't have a WPUNJ ID card you need to go to Hospitality Services, located in the Student Center. The ID Center is open 8:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday. Check here for their late night hours.

The Graduate Study Room in Library 211 contains individual study carrels and soft seating. All registered WPUNJ graduate students can access by swiping their student IDs. 

William Paterson Master's Theses are located in the Reference area on the 1st floor of Cheng Library. More recent William Paterson theses are available through the database, Theses @ The William Paterson University of New Jersey
