For industry information, IBIS World will retrieve recent and detailed industry reports.

You can also find industry information in ABI/Inform, Business Source Premier, and Hoover's. 

Hoover's Academic contains company profiles, recent news, financial information, and other essential company data.

You can also pull company information from IBIS World, ABI-Inform Complete, and Business Source Premier. 

Industry Analyses, SWOT analyses of public companies and similar reports can be located in several sources.

• Business Source Premier includes SWOT analyses from Datamonitor. Enter the company name and the term SWOT in the search box. 
• Select ReferenceUSA from the database list and then click one OneSource. Search for a company and then scroll through the left menu for a report on "Strengths/Weaknesses".

Both ABI-Inform Complete and Business Source Premier provide access to trade magazines and industry/market research reports. 

The best keywords for researching a bakery/cafe concept include restaurants, "bakeries or bakery", coffee and similar terms and phrases.

From you results list, look for more display options such as "reports", "market research reports", "industry profiles"' ,  or "trade publications"

Use the ReferenceUSA database to make lists of companies by a set of criteria such as NAICS/SIC code, "yellow-page" listing, geography, number of employees, or sales. This source is particularly useful for small and even local businesses.

• Locate all of the Starbucks in a particular geography

• List of competitors
