Business Research Overview : Getting started with the library

Welcome to the Cheng Library! This guide is a quick overview to accessing the business resources in the library. Please reach out to us with any questions - we're here to help you! 

Use the library's homepage to access information from the library's databases, books, and media in addition to other business resources like company reports, industry data, cases, and statistical information. 

Navigating the website - searching for resources

The website is your portal to search the library! Use the drop down menu to pick how you search: 

Search all Searches everything (books, media, articles)
Books & Media Searches books and media/streaming video
Find articles Searches articles
Course reserves Searches for course reserves
Journal search Searches for individual publication titles, not individual articles (ex: The New York Times)

Navigating the website

Click on citation resources for citation guides, tutorials for quick videos on information literacy skills, and webinars/workshops for an up-to-date list of the semester's schedule. Use the chat options on the right for instant reference and research help. You can schedule a one-on-one research session with a librarian by clicking on "Research Consultation".
