National Climatic Data Center
The NCDC makes available a wide variety of data files and reports at no charge to educational institutions, but the reports must be accessed through this link on the Library's web page.
National Weather Service Aviation Weather Center
Current Weather and Forecasts as well as other weather related information for the United States.
Naval Oceanography Portal /Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC)
Surface Analysis Charts and Satellite Imagery to forecast typhoons and other severe weather.
Online Guides for Meteorology
The Online Meteorology Guide is a collection of web-based instructional modules that use multimedia technology and the dynamic capabilities of the web. This web server is a result of cooperation amongst the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the Collaborative Visualization Project (CoVis), the Horizon Project, and NCSA.
U.S. Global Change Research Program
The Global Change Research Program integrates federal research on climate and global change, as sponsored by thirteen federal agencies and overseen by the Office of Science and Technology Policy, the Council on Environmental Quality, the National Economic Council and the Office of Management and Budget.
