What is Stewardship?

IStewardship refers to both the management of resources and the building of a relationship with a donor. It acknowledges the gift and assures the donor that the gift is being used in the way intended.

Thank you notes, plaques, bookplates, displays, black tie dinners, articles in newsletters and newspapers, etc. are all part of stewardship. In its broadest sense it is the cultivation of donors.
