International Children's Literature: Home

International literature is usually defined as books originally published outside the United States, often in a language other than English and translated into English. For the purpose of this list it also includes books published in the United States but set in another country.

While many countries have their own children's book awards these two American awards acknowledge outstanding literature published outside the United States.
