Finding Books and Articles

Finding Books

To find books on your selected country and the processes through which it has become integrated into the contemporary global order, use the Cheng Library Catalog. In addition to using the name of your country as a search term, you should consider using one or more of the additional terms in the column to the left.

If you've identified a (paper format) book you want, this floor plan/map will indicate where it is located in the Library.

Finding Articles

For this assignment you are being asked to use articles published in academic sources - these are typically referred to as peer-reviewed scholarly journals. The Cheng Library offers several databases that can provide these for you. In addition, you can also use a customize Library link to the Google Scholar search engine to get access to articles from many of the Library's subscription journals.
