Your main source for company financial data should be the annual report/10K report. 10K reports are filed with the SEC but are also posted on the company webpage. Yahoo Finance is an excellent source for information on stocks.

Industry Reports in the General Business Databases

ABI and Business Source Premier also include selected industry profiles and reports. The easiest way to locate these reports is to search for the industry by name, SIC or NAICS code and then limit to the report type "report" or "Industry profile". While many of these reports are full-text, some searches will lead to descriptions of reports rather than the actual report.
